Sakarya Applied Sciences University, Faculty of Health Sciences, was officially established in the Akyazı district of Sakarya through the additional clause 184 published in the Official Gazette on May 18, 2018, as part of Law No. 7141, which made amendments to certain laws and decrees regarding higher education during the General Assembly meeting of the Council of Higher Education on May 9, 2018.
Starting from the 2020-2021 academic year, the Faculty began providing education and training in Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and Health Management departments.
The Nursing Department admitted its first students in the fall semester of 2020-2021 and commenced its educational activities. The language of instruction for the Nursing Department is Turkish, and an optional English preparatory program is also available.
